Analisis Visual Sosial Toleransi Dalam Film Bumi Itu Bulat

This study aims to describe the visuals of tolerance in Indonesia in the Bumi Itu Bulat movie. The phenomenon of mutual respect, acceptance and mutual understanding in the Bumi Itu Bulat movie is an adhesive for diversity and provides its own message in the social world for society so it is worthy of study. This study uses content analysis methods with a semiotic approach to analyze the tolerance values contained in the Bumi Itu Bulat movie. The results found that there are visuals in the form of active tolerance and passive tolerance. Active tolerance is the ability to take concrete actions to create good social relations by volunteering for violent disasters, as well as preventing the destruction of houses of worship of other religions. Passive tolerance is the ability to accept and respect differences of opinion, views, behavior and habits with the visual of living together peacefully, personal awareness involved in getting along in every social interaction.

Pengaruh Media Sosial dan Literasi Ekonomi terhadap Minat Berwirausaha Mahasiswa

This study aims to determine how much influence social media and economic literacy have on the entrepreneurial interest of students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Riau University. This research is included in quantitative research. The population in this study was 1351 with a research sample of 93 students. Sampling technique using random sampling. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires and tests through google form. This study uses descriptive analysis, multiple linear analysis, normality test, linearity test, heteroscedasticity test, multicollinearity test, T test, F test and coefficient of determination test. The results of this research show social media and economic literacy together (simultaneously) have a positive and significant effect on the entrepreneurial interest of students of the faculty of teacher training and education, University of Riau. The results of the analysis of independent variables namely social media and economic literacy have a joint contribution of 0,494. This means that all independent variables namely social media and economic literacy have a joint contribution of 49,4% to the interest in entrepreneurship while the remaining 50,6% is influenced by other variables not discussed in this study.

Peran media dalam mempengaruhi opini publik tentang Hukum dan keadilan

Media memiliki peran yang sangat signifikan dalam membentuk opini publik tentang hukum dan keadilan. Melalui pemberitaan, analisis, dan penyajian informasi, media massa mampu mempengaruhi persepsi masyarakat terhadap isu-isu hukum dan keadilan. Artikel ini mengkaji berbagai cara media mempengaruhi opini publik, termasuk melalui framing berita, agenda setting, dan representasi visual. Media tidak hanya menyampaikan fakta, tetapi juga membingkai isu hukum dengan cara yang dapat menimbulkan bias atau mempengaruhi pandangan publik terhadap keadilan. Peran media sosial juga semakin penting, di mana platform ini memungkinkan penyebaran informasi secara cepat dan luas, sekaligus memberi ruang bagi partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam diskusi hukum. Melalui studi literatur dan analisis kasus, artikel ini menyoroti dampak positif dan negatif dari peran media dalam pembentukan opini publik tentang hukum dan keadilan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun media memiliki potensi untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman hukum, ada risiko penyalahgunaan kekuasaan media yang dapat mengarahkan pada distorsi fakta dan polarisasi opini publik. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk mengembangkan literasi media di kalangan masyarakat agar dapat mengkritisi informasi yang diterima dan membentuk opini yang berdasarkan fakta.

Enhancing Battlefield Awareness: Integration of IoMT Sensors and Networks in National Defense Systems

The integration of the Internet of Military Things (IoMT) into national defense systems presents both opportunities and challenges for enhancing battlefield awareness and decision-making. This study explores the technical and operational barriers to IoMT deployment, such as interoperability, network bandwidth limitations, energy consumption, and cybersecurity vulnerabilities. Using qualitative research methods based on secondary data from academic articles, defense reports, and technical documents, the study investigates how these challenges impede the effective use of IoMT in military operations. The research findings highlight key issues such as the lack of standardized communication protocols across devices, the need for low-latency networks, and the heightened cybersecurity risks posed by a large number of interconnected devices. Furthermore, the study underscores the importance of energy-efficient solutions to ensure continuous device operation in combat zones. Conclusions suggest that addressing these challenges through standardization, enhanced cybersecurity measures, and adopting emerging technologies such as AI and blockchain is essential for realizing IoMT's potential. Future research should focus on human and organizational factors, geopolitical concerns, and sustainability in IoMT deployment.

A semiotic analysis of the novel "Cantik itu Luka" by Eka Kurniawan

Literary work is the arrangement of concepts that are imagined into writing that has aesthetic and moral values. In addition, literary works must be able to produce beautiful works of art. Many elements are involved in the creative process of literary works, including science, insights, thoughts, beliefs, and real experiences, as well as elements of the author's imagination. Besides having structural elements, novels also have semiotic elements, which study the structures, rules, and conventions that make signs have meaning and significance. This research aims to identify the semiotic elements in Eka Kurniawan's novel "Cantik Itu Luka". In this study, researchers used semiotic theory according to the views of Charles Pierce. After researching, the novel "Cantik itu Luka" by Eka Kurniawan shows a lot of semiotic word usage , such as icon (topeng wayang, pabrik, kucing hitam), index ( jejak kaki di hutan, hujan ders, merokok), and symbol ( bunga, api, rokok). Researchers use a qualitative descriptive method, or a descriptive method accompanied by analysis activities, to obtain data. The data was obtained by reading Eka Kurniawan's book "Beautiful Is Hurt" and analyzing it semiotically, finding many explicit signs. Utilizing this analysis, readers should be educated to appreciate literary works and understand the semiotic system in them.
